Initialize Console

To set up Console, open http://localhost:8000 in your browser and follow the initial setup steps. You will create a local admin account during this process, choosing a secure password.

Console Initialization

tip

The admin account is special, and the only one which doesn't use e-mail address for login. It can serve as an emergency backup when issues with Single Sign-On (SSO) occur, since it uses a locally stored password. While this account can be used for regular tasks, we recommend creating a dedicated user account for daily operations.

Add User (optional)

After logging in with the admin account, click on the Admin icon, go to Settings, and navigate to Add User. Here, you can create additional user accounts. For this tutorial, please make sure the new account is assigned all permissions or admin rights, as shown in the screen below:
