Initialize Console
To set up Console, open http://localhost:8000 in your browser and follow the initial setup steps. You will create a local admin account during this process, choosing a secure password.
The admin
account is special, and the only one which doesn't use e-mail address for login. It can serve as an emergency backup when issues with Single Sign-On (SSO) occur, since it uses a locally stored password. While this account can be used for regular tasks, we recommend creating a dedicated user account for daily operations.
Add User (optional)
After logging in with the admin
account, click on the Admin
icon, go to Settings
, and navigate to Add User
. Here, you can create additional user accounts. For this tutorial, please make sure the new account is assigned all permissions or admin rights, as shown in the screen below:
