Introduction

ContexQL is a specialized query language developed for efficient matching of objects processed by Contextal Platform and, by extension, the graphs that contain these objects. These characteristics can be intrinsic to the object itself or related to the connection linking the object to another object within the graph.

The language is textual and strictly defined, ensuring precise and accurate queries. Whitespace is generally non-significant, except when used within string types, which preserves the clarity and consistency of queries.

ContexQL enables users to execute complex searches and analyses based on the detailed and structured nature of object relationships; it's also the base for other flagship features, such as contextual scenarios of Contextal Platform, and custom dashboard widgets of Contextal Console.
