Threat actors often hide malicious URLs within multiple layers, making detection difficult for traditional systems. In this case, the URL is embedded in a QR code inside a PDF file.

Solution

With our ContexQL language, you can define generic detection scenarios that cover entire threat classes. In the example above, the platform blocks all emails containing newly registered domains within QR codes, effectively preventing QR-code phishing (quishing) using this technique.
